Finding flooring installation classes near you is simple. Once you’ve viewed training courses, you can take a look at our training calendar to find quality training opportunities that work for your schedule.

If you don’t see something that works for you, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship or sign up for our emails so that you can be notified when new courses are added. We are adding new courses all the time, so be sure to stay in touch!

How much do flooring installation classes cost?

 The cost of flooring installation classes ranges depending on the organization providing the course, as well as the length of the course, but you can expect to pay between $850 and $5,000 dollars. A 3-day course, for example, may be $850 while a 5-week program can run $5000.

By applying for an FCEF scholarship, you can reduce the cost of your training significantly. FCEF scholarships typically cover 50% of the cost of a the training up to $2500. You can also apply for a scholarship to cover a portion of multiple classes. If you want to take two approved classes that cost $850 each, and FCEF scholarship will cover $425 for each class.

Training Partners

FCEF-approved training partners offer programs at their facilities as well as regional programs throughout the United States. All entry-level programs by NWFA, CTEF and CFI are eligible for FCEF scholarships. 

Technical Colleges

Working with technical colleges, FCEF has launched a flooring installation program for technical colleges. This program introduces students to all types of flooring installation in a 10 to15-week program.
